RAPIDA: Locate Automated Defibrillators in Navarra
RAPIDA is a free Android application designed to enhance public safety by providing users with real-time information about the location and availability of Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) in Navarra. Upon launching the app, users can easily identify the nearest AED, enabling swift action in the event of a cardiac arrest. The intuitive interface ensures that critical information is accessible when it is needed most.
In addition to locating AEDs, RAPIDA allows users to register new defibrillators by pinpointing their location on the map and filling in relevant details. Users can also update existing AED information or report inaccuracies, subject to a validation process. The app includes educational resources on performing first aid, guiding users through necessary steps in emergencies such as cardiac arrest, stroke, heart attack, or choking.
